Treeva and Dante square off. Dante has given Treeva a second puppyhood. She is so tolerant and patient of his constant mouthing. I'm sure she will be happy when those needle sharp teeth are gone.
Dante practiced show stacking. He won't stand for long - so it was a quick, snap the picture moment. He does most anything for a treat, but loses interest quickly.
Dante had a visitor!! Mark recently broke his leg sledding and Dante was happy to give him some quality dog time and kisses. Mark loves dogs and was thrilled to visit with him.

We have been busy here in Wisconsin and Dante seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. Last weekend he went swimming (I wish I had brought the camera along to capture it). Our Vizsla club met at a facility that has a doggie swimming pool and offered an opportunity to swim our dogs. Dante wasn't so sure he like it, but picked up the general swimming idea pretty quickly. Then he had an opportunity to meet lots of red dogs at the meeting.
We have determined he is pretty much potty trained when this morning he waited by the door whining to go out (John was upstairs and his whining alerted him). Yeah!!!!
Yesterday we got more snow and had an opportunity to play out in it - I discovered Dante no longer dislikes snow now that he is taller and it doesn't brush his belly when he goes outside in it.
He has quickly outgrown his 3rd coat - in a matter of 3 weeks (yikes!!)
Things he's learned: Sit, Down, Wait, Go to your Cage, Here, Stand, he is learning - "touch" - contact word for agility. While nothing is completely confirmed (is it ever :) ) he has relative competence in what the words mean. We also introduced the dog walk and tunnel at our last class. It is so much fun to see him learn and understand!!!!
