Rogan was a sleepy boy this morning after breakfast
and insisted on being on the computer chair with me.
He's BEHIND me. I think there's a V gene for this.

Likes: Hunting (birds are the BEST), snuggling, going places, learning new things, digging DEEP holes
Dislikes: Being cold (will be buying Polartec jackets next winter, Great Aunt Szuka does not like to share hers)

Likes: Running around her new & *improved* (much larger!!) yard, digging for moles, lizards, crickets, you name it, playing with her mother, but mostly her ESS friend, Chuckle, the new already *unstuffed* squeaky toys she received over the weekend, snoring
Dislikes: Clean water, being made to behave, being made to quit barking, being made to be still (for the clean water or to have a pedicure), being made to eat (only rarely does that happen, but she IS her mother's daughter)

Likes: Chasing and bothering Treeva, sticks, bugs, running, my toy pheasant, chewing on rawhides, agility and going to classes

Weight at 10 months: 33-34 lbs
Nicknames: Lil Mess is the dominant nickname, but new nicknames include Little Bit, Short Stack, Squirt (hmmm, I sense a theme here), Babylove, Miss Wales (as in Josie the Outlaw)
Likes: Where to start? Josie likes to play with everything - she can turn absolutely anything into a toy. She's not yet met a vegetable she doesn't like. She likes to play in the sprinkler. She loves to chase birds and squirrels (it's only a matter of time...). Going to playcare. Cuddling in bed. There's not much she doesn't like, but...
Dislikes: Solid bodies of water (her baby pool, the lake). The blow dryer. Cold weather.
Jaspar formerly known as Woody

Weight at 10 months: 50+ lbs
Nicknames: Slobber Jaws (drools with bubbles), Little Guy (he isn't anymore!), Thief (from all the stuff he steals from the countertop in the kitchen), Mr. Wiggles (does the tail wag the dog or the other way around?), Mr. Troubles...
Likes: Teasing the threads up and out on the porch carpet, FOOD - anything and anyone's, Academic Vice President at my university...they are soul bodies, chics - the better looking the better, kids, chasing down sticks and balls to retrieve again and again, the fishies in my aquarium (still trying to catch one through the glass), Diva - he adores her, toilet paper - especially strewn throughout the house, Diva's rawhide bones (they are already softened for chewing!), Lola - his girlfriend the bebull (beagle x bulldog cross) in obedience class
Dislikes: Boring situations (then YAWN the loudest sound effects possible), getting nails trimmed

Weight / Height at 10 months: 33 lbs / 20 1/2 inches
Nicknames: Peanut, Toots, the Respirator, Bubbles (due to all the spit bubbles), Baby Bree
Likes: Agility (I used to love the tunnels, but now the contacts are my favorite), meeting new people, carrying things in my mouth, playing with Rainey and my boyfriends Max (the sweetest, most handsome pit bull who lives next door) and Ryder (my Golden boyfriend who lets me chase him in and out of tunnels) and my newest passion is BIRDS
Dislikes: Shadows and reflections are VERY scary, sitting still when I don't want to, getting my nails done

There is a V Gene - my Treeva shares it! She insists, when she comes to my office, to climb into my co-workers chairs behind them and then gradually push them off the seat. Beware, it is a cunning and sly tactic to take control of the chair.
